Yeah, the mountains really need to be fixed. Or at least combat in them

Yeah I already answered this one, it's the immersive ship camera toggle, it applies to riding animals too. They should probably default that to seasick mode off.

And to make it worse, leaving my injured pet near the swamp while being attacked... great

(By the way, pets shouldn't break our buildings, it's ridiculous.)

I'm sensing sarcasm here, you claim these events to be humorous and yet they seem frustrating as you describe them.

Vertical hit box issues are a known thing for now. Unfortunately.

Like everything else, you must calculate these conditions into your strategy. I.e. move to level ground to initiate combat.

Since I've already discovered the issue I no longer attempt combat in these situations.
