sorry i dont have news but i literally just opened steam to ask the same thing. played a butt-load at launch and wondering what updates are like

did that spiderweb area get finished?
does my save file still work?

Hesrth and Home added a significant amount of new stuff and rebalanced how combat works, so theres a good amount of new playability.

However, caves are about to be added to Mountains if you want to wait a few weeks (or dont explore too far) in a new world.

Mistlands should be landing probably sone time in the first few months of 2022

As soon as you said "however" i tuned out because nothing good follows it.. ever, doesn't matter how hard you type, that word is doom.
Aswell as "rebalance", there is always an overnef in those, a fancy way to gloss over the things that would be interesting that people would be glad to talk about if it ever was used with something good, which it's not.
Just going to assume this is slowly sliding down a slippery slope with a bunch fancy new stuff to distract.

A lot of people whined and cried about the H&H update, because the game suddenly became a farming and cooking simulator for them. Oddly, I played Farming Simulator and Overcooked, but Valheim was neither of those. People exaggerate their grievances wildly.

In short: if you prefer easy anti-survival survival games, then Valheim as of the moment will not be for you. I suggest Minecraft, Salt, and/or Miasmata. All quite laid back.

I like to build roads and bridges.
