The only time I killed Yag it was solo. I had max tier padded, fire resist, med heals, and stamina potions. I used a max level frostner. I spawned him in , popped the bonemass special, and face tanked him until he gave up the ghost, it was quick, I don't think I had enough time to pop more than one or two stamina/heal.

*edit : I went first thing in the morning. (through portal, with rested bonus, cleared the area first)

i beat him solo the other day just for the trophy. padded 4, blackmetal sword 4, heavy attacks, fire potion, bonemass buff, serpent stew/blood pudding/low pie. i killed him in 3 stamina bars, 5 minutes time. so i doubt he was buffed.

i beat modder with full silver 4 gear solo, was using needle arrows (made of deathsquitoes from planes), but dont rely on bow too much, it doesnt deal any significant damage anyway. fight her on the ground

I've kind have noticed it too. All the bosses. I nearly died to Moder like thrice now after the AI updates and I've noticed they've become quite aggressive with their specials. Yagluth spamming meteor and Moder spamming her flying ice splinter blasts. Even with the classic dark souls role, she curved her attacks and i ended up tanking 4 splinter blasts nearly dying. Yagluth just nonestops spams the fire slam and meteor, but once you get far to recover, he's still slow. Overall the best AI improvement went to Moder, also noticed that she does not get stuck at areas as she used to before.

Very good question, guess you might have to test it, but that's a rough test maybe try the Snow first potion/buff vrs dragonlings or Moder

My understanding is that it will use the higher buff but only one applies.

That said, I know if you are wet and enter the mountains with a wolf cape you start to freeze but taking the frost potion will cancel that.
It does make me wonder if say you got poison ticking if the yag power will cancel out the remaining time or reduce it further when stacked with the potion.

Now my first time fighting Yag with another person it took us 3 days and 2 nights of constant fighting. We were mostly using arrows though. We went back and did him again and had a much better time of it doing more melee. <about 5 mins>

The boss difficulty is variable depending on how many people are present when the boss is summoned. When I did it with a friend we summoned the boss with both of us present both times, even though he "seemed" much more difficult the first time. Although I have heard of people cheesing boss fights by sending in one person to summon the boss then having the rest of the people join the fight after the boss spawns in, so the boss only has the one person health and damage.<or however it scales>

When me and 2 others fought him it was epic, we where trying to regen hp like 1000 yards away then all the sudden, he drop fire balls on us, he broke out house and portal we had to run off and build beds after getting our body, we had like 2 portal up cause he would aggro on them like a mile away, we were noobs but geared was a hella fight. but that was a while ago, now we are playing on a new server with Player set to 6, 1 guy just leaves his pc on all day/night soi when you go do anything solo its rough
