Maybe more suited to the review section? Personally I'm really happy with the game.

You could of course return it if you haven't played for more than 2hrs.

Combat as most games does take time and when you get it down is actually quite fun. Still not a final stage of the game, but still works if you want to get into the game. Some people take longer than others. My brother always ran from fights I take on everything. Full on fights sometimes you have to parry attacks (block perfect timing). Dodge roll specific ways. To be honest first time on this game is not easy. Takes time.

This isn't my experience with Valheim. Nor is it the experience of millions of other players.

The controls are not clunky, combat is almost too easy. So you can give up on your money or you can try again to see what millions of other people see in this game.

Combat is nearly impossible? How so? Even my girlfriend who have never played computer games in her life can hold her on in this game against the supposedly "toughest" creatures. Perhaps you need to look inwards and lament your own lack of ability to play the game. Or, in simpler terms, git gud.
