Can't see Friends' servers

My Wife and I often play together; starting yesterday, we could no longer see each other's servers. Is there something going on? We've been playing together for quite awhile now with no problems....until yesterday.

Ok.....

I rebooted, received a steam update, and now it all works....hmmm

Additionally, I can now build a Maypole....when did that happen?

earlier today with a patch they did

At top of page if you click on the "News" tab it shows the update information.

I've had problems in the past with servers taking a few minutes before they appear in the list, or sometimes if the host has loaded the game after I've loaded it's not shown up til I reload.
