they should add...
1; NPC's that spawn randomly as travelers or in ruins, that you can talk to and recruit... or have them follow you and give them refuge. you could train them to fight and/or become guards
2; A flat world mode that one would use for building... and more cheat commands, like remove all trees in your vicinity and remove all hills, or turn all the ground around you perfectly flat.
3; Natural disasters that occur randomly and rarely, like a tornado or lightning storms.
4; Volcanoes. They should add volcanoes in Ashlands when that update happens.
anyone got any other suggestions?

4: Horses. Vikings used horses and spread them world wide. Having wild horses on the plains and meadows would be amazing.
lol, what ?

Good ideas. NPCS for sure, not sure about disasters, but would like to need to consider environment and weather issues in our builds. Valcanoes sure, a volcanic biome could be really cool. Flat world would be cool for us builders. I really want world settings, and difficultly sliders. I love the world generation and exploring, but getting tired of the constant forced/required fighting to progress, bosses are fine, just seems every game these days wants us to always fight fight fight. LOL. Some is good, but constantly fighting can also get dull for some of us. :-)

1: Digging up berry bushes and transplanting them (shovel). This preserves the resource but allows you to have them where you want them, perhaps requiring originating biome to stay alive. So basically you could get all the bushes from an area and keep them in one spot there...set a portal. Saves time in the long run. (Maybe make the plant not able to portal like ore and ingots)
2: Vikings used natural resources for dishes and stuff. So being able to make a large variety of plates, bowls and whatnot would be cool. Maybe require the bowls for crafting some meals.
3: Thirst. Player should have to drink fluids, in the same vein as food.
4: Horses. Vikings used horses and spread them world wide. Having wild horses on the plains and meadows would be amazing.
5: Odin's gift. When Odin appears in front of the player ( rare event ) he should give them a small limited buff. Seeing one's God would be inspiring.
6: Total overhaul of the random map gen, including options for players to tweak some of the settings.
7: Difficulty slider that scales mob health/stamina and damage - for players that want a harder experience.
8: Ability to apply war paint that gives small bonuses to the character.
9: Converting 50 of the same trophy to a repelling head on a stick (repels the specific monster). Has a small radius, cannot be placed in same area as another head regardless of type. Ability to put them on the cart or tacked to the side of your mount's saddle. (like the Witcher 3)
10: Magic in the form of rituals and runes. Nothing crazy though.
11: Wounds, bandages and limb damage for player and mobs both. Shoot a troll in the knee and watch him limp towards you.
12: Weapon poisons, arrow poisons. (no more ice, poison, fire arrows - would have to make the poisons then apply it)
I could go on all night hahaha. Anyway, here's a few idea's. The head in the cart was suggested in a different thread, it was not my idea. :)

i know it takes a while, im just thinking it's things they can add in the future Curtains and pies take a lot less work to make than new NPCs, dungeons, biomes, bosses, more to explore. A pie is just a slightly different piece of food, a variation on a simple item that's already coded in the game, with a very basic model, something that wouldn't take weeks or months to add. All that other stuff you're asking for? Takes months, minimum.
(Mac shakes his head, grumbles something, and walks away...)

I wish the update was more about biomes, monsters and exploration. I don't care about making curtains and pies. I also think NPC's would be good, especially for solo players.
I mentioned natural disasters in other threads. The consensus is no thanks. I would say small scale disasters, nothing world ending. I'd also like to see more aesthetics for water, like waterfalls, rivers and lakes.

Some multi-level underground dungeons would be interesting and should not be too difficult to program since they already have crypts and burial chambers.
