I've found entrances almost completely hidden by trees, big rocks and even a copper node. Without the skellies standing guard I would've missed several. If you have an interest try completely digging out the crypt (or a troll cave). It's like a science experiment

...is it this BGkrTS9Pmg seed by any chance? In this seed is the same experience, NE from the spawn at the edge of a Meadow/Black Forest biome...

Stamina buff for running and jumping

With coins, once you find the merchant, you can buy fishing rod and bait along with a headpiece that glows(acts as a torch), a holiday hat(joke hat), and most importantly(imo) a belt that is an extra equipment piece that adds 150 o our carry weight.

I recently found one where the entrance was completely buried. If the rest of the chamber wasn't so prominent, i wouldn't have noticed.

ya random worlds have that kind of stuff the rock was just randomly spawned there they need to give there worlds better perimeters but not a hug deal

I'm just going to keep my eye's pealed now as i need 5 more Surtling Cores

I kinda like it, you can discover cool stuff when the random generator goes a little nuts, and every world is big enough to have a couple of oddities.

I found one when a stone started shooting arrows at me.
I could have just left the area but was bugged enough to dig it out with a pickaxe. (While timing shield blocks)
There was a skeleton archer embedded in/below the stone and beside the tomb opening. About an hour after clearing the tomb, while randomly trotting through the forest, I had the thought: "I bet I could have just slammed the rock with Stagbreaker a few times."

That is kind of neat that your first one was covered but that isn't the norm.

Typically they are like that but unblocked. There are also stone entrance buildings and hobbit holes.

Skeletons will always be at the entrance though so they are easy enough to know when one is around.

If you hear random fighting noises in the black forest it's probably skeletons. If you figure out where they came from it will either be a crypt or a tower. It's a good way to find crypts that are hidden in the side of a hill.
