i will admit thats one of the pretties battle grounds ive seen so far, very nicely done.

I just kited him around his skull, no other battlefield preparation necessary, but a portal around 60-70 meters away. :D

Use a lvl 3 iron banded shield, lvl 3 iron chest and greaves, lvl 3 root mask and you can block anything he throws at you. Was almost boring.

But I like it when people try something else. It shows imaginative thinking, of which I'm severly lacking. ;)

In my second playthrough i had luck to spawn bonemass high up in the tree, where he got stuck and i was left with an easy job to shoot a ton of arrows at him 😄 it took a long time to kill him but i won the fight without getting hit 😄

I like building bases around the Bonemass skull. It's one of the few points of light in a swamp!

I have fought Bonemass a couple of times after building a (smaller) base around the skull, and the one time he spawned in the atic, half sticking out the roof, and appeared to be stuck, so I beat him to death!

The other time he spawned outside, so it was a normal battle, with just some minor damage to the building.

Ok so the roof doesn't work, he just spawns on top of it. Despite the fact that its 50 meters above ground.

I made a portal to the top.

That doesn't work either. his attacks blast holes in the floor causing a fatal fall.

Back to the drawing board.

No bragging , just research.

I like your method than mine was a lot more resource intensive. I just filled the area with spikes and put platforms over it then used bow and arrow for most of it. I really wanna try flattening out the area like you did.

I'll work on the Iron buckler, just prepping the battle field , already have some good foods prepared and some meads.

I built a platform directly on top of the summoning skull, with a winding staircase to the top. I remember getting hit by 2 attacks during the whole fight, and neither of them was even from Bonemass. A blob jumped up and did the toxin explosion thing in midair after bouncing off part of the platform. Got clipped by it.

I just shot bonemass with arrows nonstop. Eazy Peazy fight.

Overkill is best kill.

Yeah most likely. Never built anything to this scale on the floor of the swamp.
