Reassurance regarding the use of creative mode
Hello fellow vikings o/
I know that there is no real creative mode in Valheim yet, only the option using the console. I am a little paranoid regarding using such things, beauce as you can see when looking at my profile, i already had gotten a VAC ban in another game by accident and i don't want to risk another one.
I assumed they surely wouldn't put something in the game for you to get banned using it, but i thought better save than sorry, and ask others with a bit more experience.
Is it save regarding bans, to use the creative mode in Valheim?

Who would give a ♥♥♥♥ when playing alone and multi you'd do with friends so that's also a who gives a ♥♥♥♥ situation.

To answer more precisely... You may use console commands all you want and / or mods without any bans... There is no "anticheat"

I and many people, esspecially on youtube use this mode all the time for Building and other stuff. If it wherent safe there would be article about this.
You also can't get banned if you use it on MP, because these are all Privat, you can just get banned from the Owners Server but not from the Game. Youre Ban must come from an Online-game or MMO.

If you play with friends or in some community server, you probably can't use devcommands, but you should still not try to or you might get kicked from their servers. But when it comes to the game itself, you can safely use it, it's not against any rules. You can go to youtube and see the building tutoriais and you will notice every youtuber uses it.

But i get what you guys said, with the server and all, just had it to be explained to me once to understand how things work. So, thanks a lot o7
Youre Ban must come from an Online-game or MMO.Yes, the ban was from CoD. Someone said it was safe to use this and that, i believed it and boom, got the ban. So i am just trying to ask around beforehand, so stuff like this doesn't happen again.

No anti cheat in place and consoel commands are ok. One of the reasons you will see ALL servers locked since anyone can bring in spawned items and or wreck a servers builds if they so desired
