Returning player needs advice.
Been awhile since I played and I feel kinda lost. I have bronze tools and weps but I havent been able to kill the Elder because he's stupid far away from my position and the last time I tried to sail to him I found multiple land masses in the way and the wind was blowing me off course.
So there's alot more undiscovered ground between me and that boss. What do I do?

Teleporter at base, then do a naked run with enough mats for a workbench and a 2nd teleporter? maybe even enough for a 2nd boat?

find a cave close by; either troll cave or catacomb. build a base in its opening (block the entrance with panels to stop you entering) for an instance hugely well protected base.
then stock it with arrows and survival stuff and a portal.
also before you summon him set camp fires all around his base and a few workbenches; these will ensure he cant summon his minions to annoy you during the fight and just make things that little bit easier.
