A very simple google search of "Valheim Unarmed" would of easily given you fact based information, so why claim "I heard" unless its to pass on false information?

The correct information is:
The base damage for an unarmed strike is 5 blunt damage.
At minimum skill level an unarmed strike will do between 1.25 and 2.75 damage.
At max skill level the most a basic unarmed strike (right hand punch or kick) can do is 5 damage, meaning that a 2-hit combo at max damage would do a total of 15 damage (right hand does 5 and left hand does 10).
As with most attack skills, max damage doesn't change after reaching skill level 75.
Minimum damage at level 75 is 3.5, and minimum damage at level 100 is 4.25.
The damage range follows the formula for Damage and Blocking Mechanics.

If one player has 1 in the stat, and another 100, with identical gear and food, that person with 100 is doing 100% more damage.

It's trash and the developers should feel bad for making trash.
