I was about to make a new video on it in 4K instead of UltraWide, since last time i mocked it's performance. But nothing has changed. Half a year of no progress at all. It looks like Minecraft but runs worse than Forza, Cyberpunk, GTA, Red Dead name any good looking AAA game.

I think the devs grabbed the money and just took off lmao, can't blame them, would've done the same prolly. It's sad because the game is really fun. It deserves better performance than this.

after this your CPU need more singelcore power.
you have a 8core/16thread cpu? 100/16=6,25% CPU usage over 6,25% and it CAN not must be the bottleneck.

And here we go agsun xD an RTx user that has issues. Watch out if youre to serious about performance issues on rtx cards that many people complained about till now youll get canceled.

I have no problem running this game. I had no problem running this game with only 16gb of memory (recently upgraded to 48). Check the specifications and see where you are in the scale between the requirements and the recommended....the closer you are to the recommended the better.

If you need a general upgrade, I suggest upgrading in this order, (depending on what your system actually has): Memory, video, CPU.

Just watched his video. His game seems to run well....no video skipping. I think he's talking about the pixelation. As I understand, that is by design.....you're dead, being raised in the land of the dead.

In general, at least for my specs / resolution / framerate I would say the game actually runs a bit worse than it did.

They did some changes a few patches back that made the ocean look worse, and I started to get a lot more small frame drops. Think they may have added a thicker distance fog trying to improve performance but really made it worse trying to render it.

But it is early access so I know this kind of thing will change a lot over time.

Just spitballing here, but I would guess that the developers are concentrating on finishing an unfinished game rather than making it exploit all the capabilities of your graphics card. Especially since your graphics card's benchmarks far exceed those of the graphic card they recommend for playing the game.

Of course, vsync has nothing to do with it because it's not even capping that. The bottleneck is the game. If it was Forza Horizon 5 I'd understand but that will prolly run just fine in 4K Ultra.

i play on max graphics, heavily modded and i experience little to no lag.
Sometimes when i join a server that doesnt have my mods, the game will get laggy over time but a simple relog fixes it.
Before i add mods, i never experienced a single lag spike other than during world save.

Also you cant compare a small dev team of 6-8 people to a dev team of 20+

Why? Pretty much all other games run well, there are a few that are to fast for my cpu but even that is more due to poor optimization. See NFS Heat vs Forza Horizon 4. Forza looks better and demands less gpu and cpu. So the conclusion is then that EA are worse developers or use a inferior game engine.

Eitherway my cpu can use an upgrade. I will as soon as I can actually other a new gpu as well.

Fps dropping from 60-30 and back is what you call runs well lmao. Mind you there is nothing on screen here.

Not saying I don't believe you but my friend also thinks game run smooth on his 144hz monitor at 40fps lmfao. He was sure it was because of the 144hz but it's more likely because of g-sync and him not being sensitive to drops, like I need to see benchmarks, the same that I make of AT LEAST a locked 60hz but ideally better.

Trust me, in my 40+ years of gaming I've seen bad video lag and you don't have it....at least not in that video. You're nit-picking. This is beginning to feel like a troll :-)

Sounds like a you problem.

I'd say it's probably because it's in early access and not complete enough to make it worth trying to optimize yet.

Could be your system too. I mean, I am running older hardware and have little to no issues. Mainly just the lag spikes at auto saves.
