I was seeing much the same. But I just got my first raid on day 142, so thought I would report that raids are happening even on a new (mistland + 1 patch) world.

The raid itself was hilariously bad. I had just gotten back to base wet with the rest bonus expiring, so my stamina zeroed out straight away. But raid was a blob raid, and with an anti-poison potion their attacks didn't do much more than drain my already minimal stamina. Net result: both sides suffering more embarrassment than damage...

havent tried spawning raids. all trophys so far are hung at the spawn

So far we've been playing for 25+ hours in a new world, and no raids so far. It could just be random chance, but in all the other (pre-mistlands release created) worlds I've been having raids quite regularly.

havent tried spawning raids. all trophys so far are hung at the spawn

fyi:
"F5" to get to console then "event" to start a raid. I recommend starting easy:
event army_eikthyr
event army_bats (if you hate yourself or need leather scraps)

ik for solo its 20% chance, but if have more ppl each person that is online has a 20% chance to get a raid so take that into heart

Island bases do get raid events. It's just that those monsters usually won't be able to get to you.

I've had a whole load of "foul smell of the swamp" events while being at my island base, as well as Greydwarfs from an event and a "the ground is shaking" a lot earlier. But at some point they never got to me, making me decide not to even bother with them anymore.

Just to confirm, you both killed the Bosses in the NEW world not a previous one yes?

If so might be a bug. If you meant Killed all the bosses prior to setting a new Mistlands fresh world then No you wont get raids or if you do it'll be the lowest level ones only.

Bosses killed in the actual world is what the gate is for raids. A toon can be the slayer of them all but go to a new land and never get bothered hardly at all if nobody their had done any boss killing.

it depends on where your base is. an island base wont see any raid events.

its also hugely random. i had 3 raids events in 1 hour 2 days ago and havent had any since then. there is a CHANCE for a raid event. its not 100% to happen.

Yes, we killed the bosses in the current world were playing that isnt allowing riads.

interesting, our main base is in meadows but the swamp and bf are very close. One time there was a bunch of fullings and two brutes outside our base at the swamps edge but we never had the words saying we were being raided.

Hmm thank you. Its about a 20% chance tested every two game days (about 40-60 minutes real time) I believe so you may just be having a lucky run.

But if your happy posting the seed maybe others here can blind test it in case their is a new glitch?

Instinct tells me you having a good clear run though.

Thanks I've set that up and made a little base after Admin killing all bosses I'll watch it for a
few hours while i do stuff about the house. If I come back to find I'm dead chances are was raided :)

Necks and Hogs the first " raid" then its Greydwarfs :D

i think there is a requirements to have certain number of raidable targets nearby. and if you don't have them: raid can't happen. or something like that.
so this may be a reason why you had no raids

Events have a 20% chance of starting every 46 minutes if there is a player within 40 meters of at least 3 base structures (except for the "You are being hunted..." event which doesn't require player base). The event is randomly selected from available events.

Straight from the wiki... but that site is outdated. So some stuff is diffrent now.

Like the Ground is shaking, when the trolls come, it says ! troll and Elder needs to be killed, Talked with crew of Valheim, and they changed that. 1 troll kill "can" start the event now.

Same. It wasn't until the in-game day that I hung up the Elder's trophy that I started getting raids.. and lots of them.

i've gone entire playthrus without a raid. it happens. i've also had them happen with nothing but a work bench and a chest at a copper node. there's a random chance for a raid every 46 mins if conditions are met like being close to certain structures. most raids which can be triggered depend on which bosses have been defeated.

Which is possible. No raids till day 30 isn't uncommon. I had that happen. I had no raids till after I killed the first boss. Which was about that point day 30 or so.

No greylings is a bit odd. As long as you have all the other spawns it may just be that you are cutting trees down and their isn't a spawn close but that seems unlikely as they have crossed large rivers to get to me.

Have you cut trees at night. There are more spawns at night. I think no raids happen until you kill 1st boss.

There are "raids" even before killing first boss, but they are laughably easy (the base gets attacked by small amount of boars and necks).

One of the first things I did was kill the first boss! I guess the map is broken somehow then.

I have been cutting down core wood for several in-game days with only spawns being when I enter the Dark Forest. So it seems something is up with that.

Also at the start of the game, there where a lot of graylings and made the game very hard. I died in Meadows several times, until I got some gear, but now they almost never spawn.

Guess I'll live with it for now! Just build a huge 2 floor core wood building. Flattening the ground is a pain though.
