Bobsledding comes to mind, though I can kinda understand it doesn't fit with the overall theme of the world they've built. But then again, neither do Yule trees and presents or jack-o-turnips (edit: and hot tubs, for that matter), so it's not too far fetched for bobsledding or gliders and parachutes. They just added red jute which could probably work for parachutes and balloons, Icarus' wings were wax, feathers, wood, and leather straps... why would we not be able to recreate that? They don't have to grant flight, but gliding isn't out of the question.
