I should try this. I am tired of pushing them once they got attracted by food, and shortening the guideway with a fence element every few meters.

did u try to move them on the Boats ?

You can force any animal onto a boat, generally by building a floor over the deck then destroying the last panel while they're standing on it. If anything spooks them during the voyage they're likely to fall off or clip into the boat and explode though.

yeah harpoon is very easy and probably is the best thing to do!
