Dvenger thoughts (Spoilers)
Does any one else hate the only way to power up eiter stuff is by burning the skin of the the only non hostile mobs in the game. Like I finally find some peaceful people, and I am supposed to murder them to interact with most of the stuff from the mist lands.

Remind me what they trade for gold as well please? Actually, the birds and deer are not hostile mobs either.
That removes some of the puzzle/challenge of the biome if you're just going to hand out things the easy way. I wouldn't like that change personally but I can see why others would want that instead of working around the problem in creative ways.
Excellent point. I don't want to dumb down the challenges rather suggest alternates that are of about the same difficulty level for different play styles.
Perhaps Gold is insufficient, the Dverger could trade an extractor for a service (Quest) and some gold maybe? They are "The Lost" so that implies they want to go home gathering info HOW that might be achieved smells quest-worthy to me?
Need more lore to answer, how did they get here again?
Its moot as I think the devs stated they were not doing in game quest other than the Overall one Odin has given us. Then again they seem to be doing something along these lines int he recent Blogpost so I live in hopes!

There's a way to TURBO level elemental magic...but *WARNING* its pure cheese.

I take great pleasure in killing and stealing from them. Thanks to them, I've collected around 100+ Lanterns, countless stacks of marble, blue jute and copper scraps.
I'm a savage so don't ♥♥♥♥ with me.

If you mean "Hildir's quest", it's almost certainly a feature of gameplay rather than "quest" in a traditional sense. Considering how similar a name Hildir is to Haldor, I'd suspect it's just another dvergr trader with a different stock or services and possibly need of different currency or currencies than mere gold.
In that tone... Being able to purchase just one dvergr extractor per world from either Haldor or Hildir wouldn't be a bad thing.

Well let me start by saying that murdering the DVERGR as you put it is currently part of the game like it or not. As an early access game things change and will continue to change. For me I went through and got 3 from the settlements my 4th and 5th came free as I stood back and watched seekers destroy them so I didn't need to. So in a way it's optional to kill them. If you don't wanna off them yourself just keep luring seekers to them, let them kill the dvergr for you if that's what you wish. Good luck 👍🏽 💓

As noted, you can get the extractor without directly killing the Dvergr. There are creative ways to do it--have other mobs attack the tower (lead a Gjall there, or seekers/soldiers), or look for one that's already been attacked/beat up where you can take the extractor without any conflict, or you can indirectly kill the Dvergr without them attacking you by using puffer fish or refined eitr. Obstacle presented, multiple solutions--like most challenges in Valheim.

They could solve so many problems by having Dvergr sell extractors from the moment you meet them and then tissue and jelly perhaps gated behind killing the Queen or doing a quest for them.

OP I am with you. Our previous encounter with a Dveger in the form of Haldor the Trader is friendly an option to maintain the friendly makes far more sense than what we have now to me.
But as I aid in another thread just now We are speculating on the Logic of a Fantasy based on a Myth...
All I can say is "its EA" and hope the Devs find time to address some logic fails like this based on thier own previously established in game Lore and experience.
Dverger love gold I have gold, Dverger we know will trade, why not allow us to trade for sap extractors etc Or Soft tissue or well anything> If you wanted to avoid killing them that is?

Yes it's bad. Trying to hurt them indirectly is even worse. Feels like a conspiracy against them :(

You don't need to murder dwarfs for the tissue; it can be mined from the skull of the dead giants

You don't need to kill dvergr for any reason if you're patient enough and explore thoroughly. It's quite likely that eventually one of their mining camps or outposts comes under attack from gjall or others and you can then claim a free extractor.
