Black Core - Basically a fuel source and magic type that could have it's own effects.

It would be nice if for useage, you can throw it in a Bonfire, like people suggested, but instead, use it to light a Bonefire, or make a special kind that is more gothic or sinister looking that causes a fear debuff to most normal or simple creatures. This would scare off anything from normal wildlife like Deer, Wolves and Boars, to Necks, or maybe even Trolls, or Fulings if you had a good idea of what would be balanced and the theme of the biome.

Please, please, please... May the black core allowes to travel between other players' worlds. It would really be great if each of us has to counteract invasions to our world or our base from other players that came through a special kind of portal. Also, it would be fun to invade others. It'll add more dynamism to the game, since there's no open servers.

As long as there is an option to not allow invaders on my server I’ll be ok with it.

That would be solved by simply putting a checkbox in the server menu, like the ones that enable cloud or local saving. "Cross-world gaming" yes/no.

Its' prolly for the new forge or another damn smelter.

Black Cores Matter

Something like a Master Portal would be cool ~ have it set up in your main area and then on use select which lesser portal you wish to go out to. Would save on have many portals in a room somewhere

Hmm... Sounds similar to Surtling Core. What are they used for? Bon Fires, Smelter, Kiln, Blast Furnace, Portals. Would be cool if you could construct a new Portal with them that allowed you to transport ores and ingots but I doubt that. Devs haven't indicated any flexibility in that area. I would assume it's used in a new crafting device. Maybe it's required for that new Forge they showed awhile back? Maybe it's needed to build a marble cutter for the new black marble material?
