Within the last week or so, the Mistlands has gone crazy. Play balance, if that's a thing in survival games any more, is now worse than the original release. I've got a probable mine and several corpses guarded by multiple two-star red Seekers. I managed to pull one out into the open Plains finally, where it killed four Lox, destroyed a large Fuling village with shamans and berzerkers, and rampaged through the nearby Black Forest, all apparently without taking a scratch. They're invulnerable to needle and obsidian arrows from a Dragr Fang--no noticeable effect. I pulled another one to a Dvergr tower, which it depopulated almost instantly. Then it wouldn't come back out where I could have bounced a couple of arrows off it's carapace.

Next, the Gjall seem to have gotten a sudden upgrade after this incident. They are suddenly now also invulnerable to arrows. Worse, the ticks now kill on first touch through Padded Armor. On a rescue mission, I barely got out through the portal just before one destroyed my forward base.

I won't speculate on the childhood trauma which might cause developers to take a game in this direction, but it's definitely time for a break until somebody decides how this is going to work.
