Those hotspots, will do it every time. It'd be fairly weird coding if they changed how they handle saves based on IP address or whether or not you're using wifi over ethernet. Is it a multiplayer game? Otherwise no clue but curious to see the outcome.

I started it as a multiplayer server on my hotspot. It loaded a save from months ago, from when i last connected using my hotspot. Steam cloud was enabled. I backed out and reloaded the server 2 times, which overwrote what i had on the cloud. This save game is where i left off on this PC, i made progress on another PC. My only hope is retrieving my local save data from it. I loaded this save (not the months old one) days ago on this PC, which was the present save. Where did steam cloud go wrong?
