Fish(y) behaviour and a minor gripe on the longship modelling

To the devs:

Fish seem to behave quite unfishlike. For example, I have seen fish move sideways floating (more or less) on the waves. Then there is the weird jumping, which comes in handy as it provides free fish, but still. It gets quite weird when deepsea types of fish behave like flying fish. I really hope you can do something to make fish behave a little bit more like, well, fish. :-)

Second, the little holes in the side of the longship are meant for oars and would in historical reality be closed up by form fitting pegs to increase the freeboard when under sail. Any chance you could model those?

Yeah, they need to decrease fish jump height and frequency, it feels so unnatural.
As for oars they need to do these first:
  • 1. Optimize the game for more than 10 players.
  • 2. Add easier ways to find groups (multiplayer interactions?).
then, it would be possible to add oars and pegs for increased speed when wind is out.

For clarity's sake, I wasn't suggesting that they should add oars, just that they close up the holes.
