The Birds
I have this great base location on a peninsula. It's on an inland sea that has river connections out to the bigger, broader ocean and I've built a nice port. Whenever I return from a sea voyage, the area around my base is COVERED with seagulls (I'm not really complaining, I never lack for feathers). It's like something out of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. This is maybe my sixth play-through from scratch and I've never seen this before. Anyone else getting this?

The seed is HwzdB0Fai8
I recently migrated to a new comp so this is a fresh install of Valheim. Generally I notice that random seeds are kinder in the first run.
The peninsula I've built on is quite close to the spawn point, just to the Southwest.
I'll try to remember to grab a screenie the next time it happens.

I think I only have 1 mod -- "Equipment and quick slots"-- and I don't think it had anything to do with this. I've been using the mod for a while and I hadn't ever seen this until today. It happened when I came back from a lot of sailing around (as in the OP).

I have a very similar HQ setup on a peninsula. There are seagulls aplenty rain or shine. So many in fact I often see them flying through my large 2 level base, whilst I am inside ...
