I caught and contained a sea serpent in my base. I created a little pool for him to stay in. He was there for weeks. Suddenly, I spawn in this morning and it's not there any more.

Has anyone else had this issue? A de-spawning sea serpent that waited to despawn until weeks had passed? Is it an update issue, perhaps? Or just chalk it up to a glitch?
