I mean... i solo'd 2 of them. Beware... you can summon another after the first finishes summoning lol. Was a fun fight. Just be careful. You could always just rebuild and go back at it to kill it.

Bosses are VERY persistent. Don't use a summoning arena until you're absolutely ready.

The electric deer boss isn't too challenging. Top off on cooked boar/neck meat and a wooden shield to block attacks. Then just practice block timing and smack it around until it falls.

A major portion of valheim progress is stored as player equipment. There's nothing wrong with packing up and moving to a new world if things get too hectic.

A shield, a weapon, and three foods should take care of him. Two meats and a berry work best. Eikthyr is the tutorial boss. His attacks can be blocked. I guess this tutorial has taught you not to summon bosses until you have gear and food.

If you really can't get far enough away to gear up, then starting over is not a bad idea that early in the game.

Agreed with Kaypy hopefully lesson learned. Bad things happen if you are not prepared... with that said. just build a new base somewhere else and be better prepared to kill him. GL the game is amazing and have fun with it.

lol build away. far far away. i spent 5 hours building a base near yagluth thinking it was far enough away, only for him to send 7 meteors on top of the roof while i was steady whacking him with my sword. lol. far away, far far away hahaha

its too late, eikthyr camped my grave and i had no materials to make arrows, i guess im gonna make a new world

This here. Patience. Look for openings and the patterns to dodge. Can't just zerg it.

Eikthyr has done you a favour here: now you know you need to avoid similar situations in worlds you have put a bunch more time into.

Having a backup plan for "something terrible is camping my main base" will serve you well when SPOILER REDACTED

ANYWAY, good thing you're still early in the game. Starting a new world should get you going again pretty fast.

Basically as others have mentioned, use a crude bow and make about 40 arrows. I killed Eikthyr with about 30 wooden arrows and a level 1 crude bow. You don't need anything besides level 1 leather tunic and pants. Also, build your home far away from the Eikthyr boss altar. If you can help it, make sure to find a second Eikthyr altar if it's too close to spawn.

Lastly, eat honey, berries, and mushrooms. Make sure to clear out the hostiles around the boss altar before activating it. Don't jump too often, and only sprint in spurts. Use the trees and boulders as shields between you and the boss. Also, as GunForBucks would warn you, watch out for rolling logs. They WILL kill you. ^o^

You could also craft that big wooden shield, then you can block all the damage, assuming you got some foods for enough stamina.
