Never used Valheim Plus, but if you download the Official Configuration mod, then hitting F1 in game will allow you to change all the settings in your mods. Or you can use the Configuration editor in the Mod Manager.

a lot of mods to not show up until certain actions in the game trigger them. be sure you are loading from the R2 site and not choosing vaniila there aswell...

You need to activate the F5 console by adding "-console" (without quotes) to your launch options (Steam client -> Right-click on Valheim -> Properties -> General -> Advanced users may blah blah blah).

The drop-down box under Launch Options that contains "Ask when starting game", "Play Valheim", and "Play Valheim using Vulkan" is just for whether you want to use DirectX or Vulkan for graphics rendering so you can just leave that part alone. It's the text box underneath it where you add the custom launch options.

Unfortunately, Valheim Plus doesn't show up in the configuration manager. You need to either change the settings for it by editing the .cfg file in a text editor, or install the Valheim Plus Manager[www.nexusmods.com] application to do it. In both cases, you have to modify/edit the configuration outside of the game.

Thanks for the replys. I ended up just modifying outside of game and that did the trick.
