I have only played two games released in 2021, and this one is infinitely better than the other one, so no contest there.

This one is also one of my all-time favourite games at this point, and I couldn't care less that it's not finished yet.

I think this is game of the year 2021 and I don't think ea games should get goty but damn every game ive played recently has been unfinished or broken at release anyway at least this one is advertising ea, its cheap, and really charming. Deathloop, BF 2042, forza, new world, gta, ect ect games release broken now days so maybe an ea game gets a pass in 2021

Except where the devs said there's definitely going to be an ending.

I am absolutely unwilling to call any early access game a GoTY. Only because the game can still change drastically and turn into a crap shoot.

That being said, I love ea games. And When I got this game. I was AMAZED at how much content was already in this fairly new EA game. IT runs great. (for an EA game) and it is fun.

I really have nothing bad to say about the game. I mean its an EA.. so complaining about bugs is a tad unfair. of course there will be bugs.

I am looking forward to see what they do.

Yea, the game's not even done, and I doubt it will be in 2022 either.

True the game is not finished but either are all MMO's that every company releases expansions for. Hearth and Home was an expansion and Mistlands is next. But there will be an ending.

But this isn't a MMO, all MMOs that retail without an early access period are finished, Hearth and Home wasn't an expansion or else we would have had to pay for it, and we actually have no indication that there will definitely be an ending

Business wise I would reckon Mistlands will be the last free expansion, with the amount of copies of this game that was sold there must be a big pot of gold waiting for the Developers for new Expansions.
I say "good luck" to the devs for this game is fun.
