They might start pts next week but they are not going to release a new biome without due diligence on a test server first. These devs are nothing if not thorough in their approach to game design and implementation. So just cool your jets. We will get it when we get it.

And when it arrives, within 2 hours or maybe days if we're lucky, there will be a new hue and cry (heavy on the cry) for the next biome cuz this one was too small, too hard, too easy, too boring, too this, too that... and the whole process of calling the game dead, the devs loafers and the game abandoned begins again.
Gamers are nothing if not consistent in their neediness.

You aren’t the only one who has waited. We all knew what we signed up for when buying into an early access beta.

Wait, isn't the thread titled "Everybody hyped for the Mistlands?" or am I mistaken? Am I not allowed to say whether or not I am hyped? Do I have to be positive to have an opinion?

How about sharing whether or not you're hyped, instead of derailing the topic?

More like moderately curious. There are other updates due tomorrow for other games I'll be checking out first. I'll get back to Valheim when I have time.

There will be no spiders in mistlands. Confirmed by devs.
Also where did you get the idea that we will see update in a week? All we know that it will be out at public test branch this year. They never confirmed we will see official mistlands update this year. It depends a lot on feedback from PTB. We might see it in 3 months if there will be a lot of bugs in feedback.

Moistlands will be great. Looking forward to the trailer tomorrow.

Nope, tomorrow they release the trailer, next week the update. That's what I understood.

That depends on your way to play it. I take my time and spend lots of time in each biome gathering resources before heading to the next zone.
