About the fog and terrain in mistlands
any plan to make the wisp see further away? it just not fun being blind for no reason
i reached the mistlands having high hopes that the region would fix the lack of content, but i don't had a good experience but the way it is right now its just unplayable, a bad terrain with 20% of visibility do they even play or test the game?

I would settle for a damn wisp that actually can keep up with your movement so you don’t have to stop to let it dissipate. But the most is entirely goofy IMO and really only a sad way to limit ranged play.

The mist is cool, but it's a trifecta of rough 1) hard monsters that hit like a truck, even with 99+ armor and shield 2) uneven terrain (huge ups and downs) with water at the bottom and 3) little or no visibility when fog hits.
It is fun, very excited to play, but very very punishing that makes Plains look and feel like a walk in the park (very bright, open spaces, even terrain, etc). It feels like a very very steep cliff of skill from what plains was, and even if the difficulty of Mountains and Plains were combined, it would not be as hard as Mistlands. Great challenge though, really testing me which was what I was hoping for.

The water maters, in that if you get in the wrong spot and are being attacked, you may fall in without the best way to regain stamina and so drown while being attacked (so potions are essential).

Or they could name it something else (bit late), or just have the mist go across in clouds, sometimes obscuring your vision. But periodically let you see the view around you - it really is worth seeing, probably my most favourite looking of the biomes.
Or if anyone had any imagination at all, there could be reasons. Off the top of my head, it's called the mistlands because it was shrouded in an impenetrable mist for centuries/eons/since last Tuesday - but now after killing yaggy, it's lifted and you can venture in.

I would go with the suggestion of a type of whisp that is faster and illuminates more. I mean yeah, the mist is annoying but it belongs there.
The terrain is... difficult. You need a lot of stamina and stamina potions because otherwise you just get stuck or can't escape those tanks who call themselves monsters.
But it gets better when you manage to accomplish the armor and stuff. The Feathercape is a great help! I glide around much now^^

The terrain is ridiculous when you're trying to chop trees and they are on some craggy bluff and the wood falls to god knows where.

I've just installed a mod - and this is a big thing for me, because normally I steer away from them for various reasons.
But wow, did they make a mistake with the mist. Epic, epic mistake.
After installing the mist be gone mod, I can actually see the mistlands. It looks really good when you can see it as a whole. The old stone bridges, little dwemer piers and encampments, it's cool.
Imo, they are basically wasting a lot of the good work put in, and really messing with the atmosphere.

To each their own. I get how the mist sucks but it does lend an air of mystery and foreboding to the place. And there are the wisp torches you can start setting around. Someone else hit it I think when they said that without the mist you gain a big advantage over the enemies with your bow. If the mist becomes too much for me I'll look into that mod. And sure, from an aesthetic viewpoint the removal of the fog makes the place look really cool.

Maybe add a recipe for an Eitr reinforced Wisp that has about double the illumination distance?
