Never understand why anyone would immediately fiddle with a game they just bought before exhausting at least the majority if standard content (but you guys do you its hardly a hangin' offence either!)

Fiddling with a few mods via Thunderstore and am using willbach's texture pack of late in general play as well. Might try and set up a modded game for the wife and I at some point but TBH would prefer to wait for an official update before doing too much experimenting.

The updates are super slow burn. tends to be quality stuff though. But yea, it shouldnt be taking more than a year to get one biome out. The hearth and home update and caves update were nice but in a year we have gotten maybe 2 hours worth of content.

You bought the game "recently", have you even "finished" it at least once? I also would wait with mods until you did finish at least one play-through, but I guess, hey, that's just me.
