Metal Mining / Food Farming After H&H
FOOD:
So the game was already pretty grindy before the update, but now it seems even worse. The game is basically turning into a food farming simulator, there's way too much grinding to get the good foods. I play this game to fight and build things, not farm, farm, farm. Takes hours and hours of this just to get a decent variety of food for different tasks.
Onto my next point. The food rebalance was pretty pointless, kind of like the old adage, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The games food system worked better the way it was before, where most foods gave mostly equal amounts of health and stamina, now you either can stack stamina and be unable to block or take hits because of the stupid stagger system, or run around and facetank everything with shields by stacking health, but you can't fight back because you have no stamina. Now you might think a balance of the stamina and health foods might work? Nope now you can't tank things good enough and still run out of stamina way too fast. So yeah the food needs to be buffed big time because it all just sucks now, even high tier foods like serpent stew or cooked lox meat are crap compared to how they were before the patch. So the game's combat is screwed up for mostly solo players like myself.
Many of the food recipes are also over complicated by having lots of different ingredients. Just simplfy them and don't have so many ingredients in each recipe, keep them more simple, like the boar jerky recipe for example, it has 1 honey, 1 boar meat, simples. Not every recipe needs 3 or more ingredients.
METAL:
Moving on from food being a bit of a mess lets talk about metal farming. Things still cost way too much iron, like literally almost all of the higher tier stuff, weather it be armour, weapons, building pieces, chests, you name it. Almost everything in the current end game costs some amount of iron and quite a lot of it is expensive. The iron costs of these items need to be reduced a lot, same could be said for items that use silver. Black metal costs seems mostly fine since it's not really hard to farm goblins/goblin camps. As for Bronze, seems ok, but could be slightly cheaper.
