you dont have to use cheats it's not like they're turned on by default.

I've been called a cheater here for using a bow to kill bonemass, for wanting to have metal portability put in the game, digging trenches to lure enemies into, building moats, ect. I have never once used a command or a mod. This toxic Lt. Dan community is hurting the game worse than mere cheating. Besides, the devs have not discouraged using them at all from what I've seen.

Joke aside, all that stuff is just game content, pay no heed to the trolls.
Only time console commands imho aren't cheating is to rectify a bug

I've begun to ignore particular users on here, even if they reply/contribute to a thread i created in a positive way, the troll threads and flame wars they create are enough to make them persona non grata to me. This place has become exponentially better since.

I play with 9 other people and not one player has used cheats and we're approaching day 400.

So either you are jumping on random servers, or your fellow players do not feel the same way about cheats.

Cheats on servers is disabled due to common sense when playing with others.
Single players well its up to them I guess who cares.
