Explore, build stuff, craft gear and farm and hunt for food. Kill the boss of whichever biome you're in, then move up to the next one for more upgrades. There are currently five playable biomes with three more in development. Development is slow, but the devs focus on bug smashing, so it runs pretty smoothly. Map is procedural, so each playthrough is a little different and some maps are easier than others. There's a website that can show you your map if you type in the seed. Mods exist outside of steam and can fix most of the things you might complain about.

i was expecting at least 10 gb

its called efficient!! and prolly good coding... you do lose a bit in graphics but it plays very very well and pausing for a look for eg at night sky is superb imho

the graphics is worse than i thought lol, its like im back to 2000 era games
not a problem tho,
is there a modding community for the game ?

Just so you understand multiplayer. Servers are limited to 10 players and are hosted by one of the players unless someone pays for a dedicated server through a third party.

good game if you like to build, craft, survive, cook, build bigger stuff, sail the seas, get attack be a sea snake thing and travel into the snowy mountains in search for silver, all the while watching for wolves

There is a progression of areas but you can walk into the wrong area .. the game will not hold your hand much. You learn a lot with death.
Your character has skills that level with use but health and stamina are based purely on food you eat and how well rested you are. Food and stamina management are everything in this game so you will need to do some farming and stuff as well as a lot of mining.

Once you learn what to do you can find safe ways to get through the game and avoid death.
Death you lose 5% of all skills and drop what you were carrying into a tombstone you can recover.

So multiplayer may mean you have more hands to do the work but you also end up with that much more work to do. Single player is balanced well for fighting etc. preparation is the key to everything.

This is not an MMO there are no public servers. Servers are private and passworded .. but you can go into looking for groups or on their discord if looking for people to form a group with.

Odin put his enemies in purgatory a long time ago but found out they were having a party there and we have come to give them a hard time as resurrected warriors.

Out of all the games I own it is most similar to "Rising World" and before you say "who dat?" well that's the point, it's only really comparable to obscure titles and therefore relative to the popular survival games it is unique and therefore popular.

Best thing you could do is find some let's play videos on youtube. I don't know why devs don't release demo versions of games like this. Have the demo end once you defeat 1st boss.

it can be a little punishing at times but the game isnt too hard if you play it smart; buy it you wont regret it for this price ; 300h of freestyle adventure fun assured and you can build awesome things with its systems. just dont expect too much story-depth. You make your own stories in this game. Therefore its also so popular as a multiplayer.

the premise is you are a dead Viking warrior.. snatched from battlefield and dropped in a new world with no memory of even types of trees... so you start "life" again seeking eternal combat and appeasing the gods.. anything more is a spoiler!... graphics suitable, scare factor high!, mobs seem easy bosses can be a challenge... solo is my preferred... with decades of gaming behind me... it looks like it will be a favourite for way more than its asking price.. unlike the Arks, Lostarks, Genshins, Rusts, etc.. but FULL DISCLOSURE! " i have Nordic ancestry so a little tiny weeny bit of bias.. :-)

It's actually more of a Terraria style game than anything it resembles visually
