Logbook?
Is there a logbook for the things you're presented to on screen? I think I miss one.
One fun thing in Valheim is the progression and the ability to get new things. Kill a Lox for the first time and you get a few new things to do/build/cook. My issue is that the info passes by fast and you're not always able to focus on that info. Some things aren't very intuitive either. Get a Elite Draugr Trophy -> get access to the Iron sledgehammer. If you miss that info flashing by, will you check the forge for new things to make?
A logbook for the info would be nice, if there isn't one.

The only three things sort of doing that are found when opening your inventory:
1) your skills tab;
2) your trophy's tab;
3) the lore book.
And neither on those tells you about the new recipes you get after they unlock.
Which leaves you to do three things:
1) check the workbench / forge and cauldron everytime you end up with picking up new items;
2) check your building menu every time you have found or crafted (metals!) new items.
3) What I do is having the wiki open at a laptop - although 2nd screen would work too - at all times. When knowing I could create something, but not knowing how or where, I may check over there to figure out what I was missing. Especially since not everything is obvious; like the metal spring at an Artisan table instead of the forge?

I thought this was the case, and I, like everyone else I assume, do the 1), 2) and at worst 3) (since there's some risk of spoilers). It's not a major flaw, but this is a QoL improvement that seems reasonable to implement. The info has been given to you. It just needs to be logged.
