I'm not 100%, but I believe you need to place that on a stone hearth

build more campfires under it, then it will work

I use that thin if I want to make it look like a drying the meat in the sun.... hanging meat on the hooks then removing the fires under it... nice display

Yes this. I made the same mistake. And you need it to cook Lox and serpent meat.

nae you dont need a stone Hearth first to build... just build it with campfires :D
just did it so I know it works :)

Use 2 fires on dirt
