By pressing "Shift" on the keyboard, lox will run. While running they pretty much destroy everything in their path., so avoid cloudberry patches & planted crops while galloping. I was very fortunate in the map seed I got, it has huge swaths of plains and many of the land masses are 80-90% plains. I am currently exploring the land mass with Yagluth, which is all plains, so having a tamed lox to ride makes travelling very noice.

You probably will not see anything faster you can ride in the game.

The world seems as large as it is due to how we get around. If they added a fast mode of transport that would effect gameplay too much.

Just my opinion but I doubt we will see anything like that added to the game at all.

You can ride the lox. Eat high stamina foods and run, or use one of three different types of boat to sail (most maps are composed of larger and smaller islands). You can also build portals and teleport all most instantaneously to another connected portal as long as you are not carrying unsmelted ore, smelted metal ingots, and drake eggs.

well, the lox is bigger than a horse, like riding a dinosaur, and it can take out a troll or a large group of enemy with one to two slam to the ground , plus trees, rocks , and what ever else is in its slam radius

plus if he dies u get meat,hides,maybe a trophy, and get ure saddle back.lol

as for a horse , imnot sure about that unless u go mod, though the 2 star wolf is as big as the horses ive seen on the mods
