Bronze bar exchange
Probably already in the discussions somewhere, but 2 Copper and 1 Tin makes just a single bronze bar? Can't we at least get 2 bars instead?

forum search is awful, and this is the closest result i found.
i agree, at least 2 bronze bar instead of 1 would be nice.
considering we need to put 3 bars in, it's mad we only get 1 bar out instead of 3.
take the weight too:
copper, 12
double for 24
tin, 8
combining to a weight of 32
bronze, 12

edit hold on...
bronze weapons and armour need 8 bars to craft.
armor 5, pick 10.
but... that's 1/3 of the starting resource?
so it's actually 24 bars, 15 bars, or 30 bars?
iron stuff needs 20...

But, it doesn't work that way--fortunately, out of all the ores, copper and tin are the easiest to get so you just gotta mine it up for what you need. That will be a ton more if you go full bronze armor but if you go troll armor and use bronze/copper/tin only for weapons/tools/stations, then it's a pretty easy lift.

Very annoying. Had the same thought. Please, change this. Although grinding is annoying, it's not the grind that's frustrating. It's the logic.

Modern bronze is typically 88 percent copper and about 12 percent tin.
So it makes perfect sense
