You need to add -console to the launch options for Valheim.

Open Steam > Library > Right click on Valheim > Properties.
On that page you should see "Launch options" click on it and add -console

Not sure how it works for dedicated servers tho

Yeah, it's not documented in the changelog but it does work.

Huh, apparently "/devcommands" works in chat, but the advanced commands that it unlocks still require the console.

I have had save issues on a server in the past and a save issue on the current one.

This time around I've determined it's something to do with the zone loading. I don't remember how big zones are but if you run/portal out of the problem zone(s) then it saves. You could try doing that.

Tried the save thing, still doesn't save anything I build. It's on a dedicated server, friend can build and it stays, I build, it goes poof when I log back in. It's like a desync or something. So.... cya Valheim until next time!
