Should i continue or start a new world?
Haven't played since Nov 2021, how good of an idea is to continue playing where i left off?(Solo map)
Anything i should be aware of, bugs, no new biomes?

All above good ideas..note the old world file will need a bit (ok a lot !! ) of time to rewrite the new features into your world file ..as pointed out by those above.. having explored areas means there will be NO new content in those locations.. personally i know i missed out on quite a few ice caves due to running thru nearby mountains :-( so its a personal balance between old world buildings and new world advantages and materials :-) but since its NOV 2021 ... id start again...maybe load your character up with stuff before you transit :-)

What do you mean? Mistlands has already been released on live patch. depends on how large your base was. you can bring the materials over into a new seed with some extra effort but the shaped ground and good base spot is lost of course.
it also depends on how much of your current old seed you had explored. if it was only like 25% you can keep going with it probaly.
if you explored like 80% of the map definitly start fresh.
i read from older posts that mistland generation is much better with a fresh seed. which is sad given that will mean Rip for my current seed when it comes out. oh well. atleast i can keep all the 1000s of marble and just bring em over and rebuild with it once i find a decent spot near the ocean in a plains again....
Edit: Mistlands was released december 6th 2022

New worlds will have more mistlands area, but you should still find heaps on an old world. Any mistlands you've been in/near may not spawn all the new stuff, though - if you've explored the outer quarter to third of the world it might not be viable.
I haven't played mistlands on an old world myself. There's also a mod that might be able to generate new content in explored areas, I've never used it and it could go wrong - at the very least don't expect any buildings in those areas to survive.
I think your world is also pre hearth & home, which means you've missed tar pits in the plains, and frost caves in the mountains. If you have plenty of those biomes left unexplored you should still be able to find new content.
H&H also brought a food rebalance, health and stamina probably aren't how you remember. And I think meat was just meat, now there's boar, deer, wolf, etc meat - I think old meat just becomes boar meat. The cooking stations have several upgrades now, with various things locked at different tiers. And there was significant changes to fishing, there's various fish and if you want raw fish you have to break them down at a cauldron. Items from Haldor are also starting to be locked behind progression, and mistlands brings at least one new Haldor item locked behind Yagluths' defeat. "Yagluth thing" also now has a name, icon, and purpose.
Personally I preference starting from scratch. Continuing is not a bad idea per se, but you won't gain much insight into the current state of the early game.
Of course you can always do both: you can have multiple characters and worlds.

There's a new biome which was added very recently. There's also been adjustments to previous biomes but I don't know how old those are.
I'd say starting with a new world would be good. That's what I did with my friends.
