Draughers in meadows
I started a new map and just beat the first boss and was sailing to where the elder is. Along the way i came across a meadows area with a kool looking abandoned village. I had to quickly vacat as each building was infested with draughers. Is this normal to find them so far from the swamp this early in the game?

Yeap it is normal because far from center of the map abandoned villages on meadows are like 100% draugr villages

trap villages are practice for the swamp. They're pretty dangerous even at bronze level, so move slow and use high level food.

yep, totally. They are a GREAT source for beesssssss!
The first abandoned village I found had three beehives. I'd only found 1 before.
I was was very happy. So were the bees. The little status message on beehives ("the bees are happy") makes me smile.

I love the Draugr villages, I usually make a base out of one that is in an ideal location. One building at a time and alot of sneaking with fire arrows. Pretty easy to fix up the buildings, I like the look of the Lords hall.

You have discovered the Sausage Factory. Embed one of the body piles in stone and build a cage around it.
