Transportable Water

Hello, is there any chance to see the possibility to transport water ? I mean, be able to bring water through barrels or something like that to arrange water plans near our houses. Could be great. Thanks a lot for all the hard job already done team :steamhappy::steamthumbsup:

I would love it if they one day add mountain ponds and waterfalls, but it's not something I'm counting on.

Water is tied to elevation. If you want to have a water garden in your base look for a low flat area in the meadows or plains (or build one) and then dig a bit. It's not an object, it's a function of the terrain. Actually that sounds like a fun challenge.

I recently build a castle on the beach, and every so often the water comes up under my walls. Fortunately it doesn't damage the bricks, but I kept thinking about it and wondering if I might make a pond nearby just for some lillies or rice or something. Then I remembered lillies and rice aren't in the game, so I just ignored it. Goblins... fuslings, I guess, can swim, so building a moat won't do much, but the deathsquito "wasps" will probably get worse if I did. Hate those things. Anyway, having a water transport thing might give them the wrong idea. I think it'd be better to stick with the way things are now and just add the ability to craft a pond or something with the hoe.

i have a feeling that the chance is close to 0. due to how water is simulated (it's not breakwaters after all XD). we only have water at the level of the sea, and it can ignore structures and even flow through them.

but since we've got tar in H&H (which is simulated liquid that can flow) there is still hope i think. just need a container now XD

I suspect tar was an experiment that proved it wouldn't be viable for now.

Please, please don't suggest the tedium of having to water our plants. This is not a farm simulation.
This was not the aim dude. The purpose was more in the idea of H&H, I mean be able to make more decorations or add a fish pond to be able to get fishs at home. Take it easy :steamhappy:

Do you mean like making ponds and stuff?

i do kind of like in the Sims how you can make your own fishing hole etc would be a nice touch.

Probably should post in suggestions though.. although this thread will probably get moved.
