Used to be that tamed boars were afraid of fire, such as torches, so it was fairly easy to build a lane out of fences and chase them with a torch in hand and that would move them along fairly well... Of course they made it so tames are no longer afraid of fire, but I think they should make it so that if friendly fire is turned on they will once again be afraid of the fire until FF is turned off again. Another idea would be to add something in the game such as a "leash" you can put on tames to lead them to new pens or locations, or onto boats.

Harpoon works but will do damage depending on your spear skill. With no spear skill you should not do much if any damage.

i havent done it but apparently u can push em on a karve or higher.. and they dont run off n drown..(but maybe someone will know better

i just built a pole fence all the way to where i needed starred boars.. and ran the route to kill trolls etc.. then pushed the boar and dropped fences behind it to stop it going wrong way.. a few skels caused an issue but its slow and works if you clear path before hand.. ultimately I wanted multiple boar breeding points :-)

You have to enable PVP first. Harpooning a tamed boar is considered a combat action and it'll do damage to the boar fyi.
