The Dev's are adding caves to the Mountains so I'm hopeful they'll go back and add dungeons to the Plains, maybe black metal / gold mines. Maybe they'll add a quest to rescue some npc slave miners from a big bad Jailer mini-boss. Maybe they'll be some of Haldor's kin so we get discounts / new items. Endless possibilities to flesh out the game. And yes, we should be using black metal armor, but that will probably be for Mistlands.

The devs just really seem to love the swamps I guess. I still don't see how adding a couple fibers of linen cloth adds so much defense to what would normally be a midgame armor, even if you just used half iron and half black metal it would at least make somewhat more sense.

I'm guessing they were/are pretty proud of themselves with the swamps, i'd be. Pretty freaking cool biome. I'm guessing they want to match that quality in all other biomes eventually.

Thats my guess.... never got finished. Evidenced by the fact that Yagluth drops a placeholder. No dungeons, etc.
