old crystal drops can be used :) also, the plan is for the yagluth thing to become the full item

Huh, I forgot about that. Me too. Hope I don't have to kill Yagluth again to get the item drop. But it won't surprise me if I have to.

If they didn't think they could alter the stats of the Yagluth thing later on they wouldn't have given it as a placeholder item in the first place.

I've just been running my worlds up to getting 5 totems then starting a new world and new character.

Beat Yag before so not like I need to again for a placeholder drop item. Not sure if any of the old crystal drops can be used... but I wouldn't bet on the placeholder counting as the final item from Yag.
