Game could really use an easier way to work in shallow water.

A first or second boss drop ring of free action accessory would be nice. Lets you walk on the bottom of rivers/shorelines as if on dry ground (up to 1 or 2 meters deep) and swing tools/build with hammer. Would make it a lot easier to build docks or clear those annoying rocks/fallen trees out of rivers so you can pass through with a ship.

Or even the ability to change a camera angle to allow you to snap pillars and walls at lower levels. Although it is not impossible to do so now without such features. Just takes lots of tinkering and patience.

V+ has and option to use tools in water. If you have not played with Valheim Plus you might want to give it a try. It blows Vanilla out of the water

You can do some of what you want by building/picking from the top of a raft or Karve.

You can easily build a walkway with floor planks a meter deep, and the you only have to deal with the waves. Anything deeper than that, and you're pretty much SOL.

I really hope the fix player interaction with water in some update. That is the worst part of the game for me.
