Can we "tame" the people that ask for slaves to be added to the game, and turn them into a conscripted labor force?

ever since I saw more dvergr in the (then upcoming) mistlands I always thought that it would be great if you could hire them for labor. I mean, they like gold and I've got lots of it, so why not be able to strike a deal with them? but I suppose murdering them for their brains and tech is just as good

aww we cant conquer foreign lands and acquire human servants? why not... it's historical and oh so helpful. even if it's taming some grey dwarfs as servants or renting some dwarfs for their time and effort?
