H&H added a bunch of new tree seeds for gardening purposes

i suggest increasing the droprate for birch and oak seeds.

Just use a troll, much faster than using an axe

I've only had two oak seeds after destroying about 10 oaks, and oaks are fairly rare and are my favorite tree so it's a real shame

Well, where did you cut down those trees? In a new world? Or in an ancient world, and far away from your previously explored areas in the Meadows?

I'm playing in a world created before H&H and I got a seed from the first oak I chopped down. Took me about 10-12 birch to get a seed.

They do exist, I have only gotten 1 myself.

Got the Birch one though.

Yeah they definitely seem exceedingly rare. It's a bit of a shame as I'd love to have filled a meadow with Oak's.

I suspect (pure hypothesis, anecdotal, not hard fact) that the chance for seed drop may be linked to woodcutter level. The first few dozen birch trees dropped nothing for me, now birch seeds are quite common.

Guys, I just asked if the seeds were dropping. Neither of you need to debate or argue. - It seems that it's rare from what I can tell and that's all I needed to know. I'm pleased others are experiencing and feeling the same as me in this regard.

Yes they do drop. I tried cutting one oak tree down and got one seed. Same for birch.

I got birch seeds from those white trees. I used a troll to smash them to pieces since i don't have metal tools yet.
