Only if your idea of fun is a grindy slog. It's not balanced for solo for a normal person in any regard whatsoerver. Maybe if you only play this game and play it like a job, it would be doable in solo, but it still wouldn't be fun.

Thanks for the responses. Really appreciate it. Recently tried Rimworld and really found that I am NOT into all the spreadsheet mechanics/interface of the game. Put me to sleep. I am sure there is very much depth in a game like Rimworld and at one time in my gaming life I would enjoy a game like that but to me right now the presentation of that depth was not for me.

So Still on the fence here. My play style lately, loved Subnautica - really that was a great game that I hated to see an end, played Kenshi for hundreds of hours and enjoyed it, played Grounded and built all over. hate spiders tho :P Refunded RimWorld and WasteLand 3 recently, just not into all the dialog right now and remembering who talked to who.

When you don't mind that the game ist 90% grinding, then go for it.

Yes it is but it gets boring after some time. Gathering resources is much better with someone to help.

Solo is fun and you can complete the game, but having someone to coop with makes it even better.

I only play solo and have absolutely no intent on playing any other way.

The game is well balanced in terms of difficulty for solo. No problems getting through any content. I mostly solo.

Yes you can, but as usual coop is more fun if you get the right people.
