If its to difficult for you, you can use this mod to make them weaker.

In the beginning fighting a troll while you look for crypts and copper was often deadly. It just sucks more now because losing skills when your at 15pt hurts a lot less then when you are at 60. Bugs make noise, you know when they are around. The mist has small breaks in it that move along with it. Don't be in a hurry. You want to see them before they see you. And remember soldiers cant climb... Unless you are really good, you have no need to go toe to toe with one. (in my humble opinion)

Use your bonemass ability if you see a starred seeker with others. I would also have 250+ health. 150 health is early swamp level for me.

That's mostly true in my experience, but I do get surprised by seekers sometimes, and they are one of the most difficult to shake if you don't want to fight them. I would rank them the second most difficult mob to outrun behind only the deathsquito, which I think is impossible to get away from without pawning it off onto something else. Wolf is fast, but you can out run / maneuver it fairly easily in Fenris armor.
Seekers, on the other hand, fly. I've been attacked from behind in the air while falling from a tall rock by a seeker. You're really in trouble if you have to swim, since they can fly over the water and, even if you do make it to the other side, they're going to hit you while you're trying to get out.
My favorite tactic, other than keeping bonemass available for the surprise situations, is to keep track of Dvergrs and their outposts. If you're going to run, run that way and try to get some help.

This is how I started ML when it was released and I progressed pretty smoothly as solo, even before the nerfs. To OP- you have to switch gear around depending on the biome, pierce resistance is crucial and you make up for it with padded helm/legs until carapace. Keep bombs and meads with you at all times, same as rested buff. I ran Eikthyr power because I can dodge and stamina is a big issue until you master the new enemies' animations. Hit the weak spots on soldiers and gjall, and always move the battle to ground you can fight on. You're exploring scary, new ground so go slow and steady! GL! wear the root armor chest and use fire resistance meads...playable again...

Did really well in this game I am just finding the Mist lands not really fun, with a Wisp and even building trails etc, so many 1 star bugs, I have gotten so many new items yet I have only unlocked a few new crafts, just tried playing and 2 soldiers and 2 seekers where outside my base and well after they 1 shotted the spiked walls I just alt-f4 out, guess I am a wimp by community standards, but this isnt very fun and I have to cheese way to much.

No need to apologize or feel guilty if you resort to console commands or mods to first learn about a new biome. You paid for a game and can play any way you wish. Even channel content producers will do this if they need to keep things moving and if they can do it you certainly can do it as well. Maybe by the 2nd and even 3rd time playing you've acquired the knowledge and play skills to restore all of the original challenges and by then you might even come here and say you want the game to be even more severe. Have fun!

Use the FROSTENER at max level (iced hammer).
It slows the enemy and makes it so much easier even if it deals less damage than the mistlands sword.

in general i have a black metal shield and a black metal sword that both are upgraded to level 4 ( max ) the shield are able to block attacks. Against normal seakers this work well.
But not against the seaker soldier i often take damage no matter what.
My tactic is to run away when i see it.
- Actual there was a great tip above that say seakers soldiers cannot climp.... I did not know i just thought they where all the same ;-)
Els if there are more than one seaker then it become very dangerous.. I find in this situation that my gigantic hammer do a great job since it can knock back the seakers and damage them at the same time.. so this is an okay tactic BUT if you run out of stamina you die.
So stamina is very important. ( there are potions and food that regenerate stamina faster)
I never tried the Frostner but i can see it have some nice features such as fire, ice ect. but dont hit so hard as other things.
els another tactic that i use is to stop and listen.. if i can hear seakers walking around i choose another route around them. So take it slow and listen.
Another good tactic in the mistland is to sail around the misland and go to shore and scout and then back to your ship and so on vs walking streight though everything and back.
Just saying that often you can find building near the ocean that you rather easy can get to.
And ofcourse when you go to shore then setup a teleporter just in case you die so you can respawn near your ship and only have to run a shorter distance to get your gear back.
