It would be a good idea to give more details like where you died. For instance, if its in mistlands I can't help you. If its in the swamp or mountains then that's a different story.

Faster to use God Mode with a console command and walk up to get your gear. Always back up your saved games folder. Optionally use the Safe Death mod from Nexus so you don't drop gear if you die.

learn how to use the console
but also learn how to use the Autosaves

your stuff/gravestone is there permanently; it doesn't disappear like it might in some games
you still have your earlier gear; don't just rush in.
if there's a shaman camping your gravestone; shoot him with a frost arrow

you don't need to quit just regroup and recon
