When?

Ok, fine, best game not finish of the year, blablabla....
Now, a question for the developer, when do you expect to finish the game?
I would like to play your game when it's finished.

Are there any odd settings you guys are running the game on then? It keeps slowing fown within 30 minutes from starting the game, I've already stated my specs here and set the game settings to low. Yet it still staggers like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when I dare to play for longer than 30 minutes. Is the multiplayer by any chance using P2P connection? as then it might explain why the game tanks so much on my end.

8gb ram 960GTI runs just fine. Don't know what the hell is wrong with your rig?

I am not a developer for IronGate, but to extend on Munin's answer, using Kenshi as an example, Kenshi was in development from Concept to Release 1.0 in roughly 12 years. They were in Early Access for about 5. Mind you, the game started off with one developer and had help along the way.

Another game I was an Early Adopter, Hero-U took about 6 years from Concept to Release 1.0. About 4 of those years were for development with about a year of a break in between.

I surmise Valheim, having a crew of 10 doing various aspects of the project would probably take anywhere from another 3-5 years, for a total of 4-6 years to get to version 1.0 based on an educated guess on how they are releasing updates. They released 26 last year. I don't know for sure of course. There are so many variables to consider. More developers doesn't mean faster development. It usually means slower in fact. Software development isn't anything like production line working in a factory, that a lot of players believe it to be.

Sounds like you have a Hot box of a pc case, you are probably thermal throttling, play with the side panel off and see if the length of play at higher frames last longer.

It's funny you all mention that. I just upgraded from an rx 580 to a rtx 3070. The 3070 doesn't even sweat this game, but what resolution are you playing at? I got around 45-55 fps with the 580, kept it under 65c temp too. But had to do it at 1080p, vsync on and some features like depth of field off. Draw distance was near max tho, particles and texture were max so game looked good still.

This is so painfully untrue I do not know where to begin.

Lol I have a 1080ti and never drop below 100 FPS. That's at 1440p.

There is Soon(tm) as defined by Blizzard. But if Blizzard Soon (tm) isn't specific enough, then maybe Unreal World's dev time of 26 years is more specific.

No one can answer this question, it depends on too many circumstances.

My 1660ti seems to bring 60fps really easy unless I'm surrounded by 200 tamed boars.....

my RX460 gives me 25-50 fps depending on biome. 3070 should be pretty much overkill for this game
