Dvergr archeology outpost

So I found an outpost with some dvergrs who dug out a perfectly preserved scull. Can I mine it for soft tissue? Do they agro on me? I don't want to mess with them tbh.

I've noticed that it is possible to cut down trees and break rocks within the radius of the ward. However, if I were to start mining the marble walls of a Dverger outpost within that radius I pull aggro. Off the top of my head I can't tell you for sure how mining the skull will go, but my hunch is it will draw aggro being a marble structure. Can you test and confirm here for us all?

It's not really archaeology, more like grave robbing. :v Never seen an excavation site with an intact skull though, sounds cool.

yes they will turn hostile if you try to mine it. get rid of the ward or the dvergr first. a blimp can easyly clear the ward out.

Archaeology Started out as grave robbing, so when did it stop?

These sites are a good place to base if you want a skull decoration. You can still find a way in to get the soft tissue without visible damage to it, go in under and fix the ground when done. If you are into that kind of thing. They are big enough inside for a small room, too, if you want that.

They will totally aggro on you as long as that Dvergr ward is intact.

one fun thing you can do, is if you already have some refined eitr, bring it over to the ward and plop them down next to the ward and the damage bits coming off the eitr will eventually destroy the ward without you being recognised as the culprit.

Once the ward is down, the dvergr will only aggro if you attack them directly. Oh, you can also use the eitr to kill them too without issue.

But yeah, as long as the ward is active it designates that whole zone as dvergr property until it is destroyed and any building or personnel damage you make directly will draw aggro on you.

Yes, I know this method, and question is: does a petrified Scull considered as protected property? It's inside of an outpost and half dug out.

Im gonna say it's not a building so it's not gonna activate the ward but tbh I think you need to test it, or someone else can.

The skull DOES count as protected, if you try to pickaxe anything within range of that ward, the dvergr will aggro until they- or the ward- have been removed.
